As part of the KINO x THEATRE series, ZIMA presents the final production by director Yury Butusov staged in Russia. "R" is a free interpretation of Nikolai Gogol’s play The Government Inspector, in which the author explores the duality of accepting reality and escaping from it. As in other works by Butusov, chaos and pathos intertwine, with art serving as a healing and liberating force. In 2022, the production received the Audience Choice Award (Main Stage) at the 32nd Baltic House International Theatre Festival.
